Fortnite drop map

Where we droppin?

Pick your spot, set this game's bus, and Droppin gives you the second to jump. Then it draws the whole way down: dive, glider, cut, redeploy, land.

Your drop

Four steps, every game.

  1. Jump at the orange circle. Leave the bus when you reach the orange circle on the bus line.
  2. Dive and hold forward. Let the glider open by itself.
  3. Cut at the red mark. The first moment the game lets you.
  4. Press jump at the blue ring. Then land on the spot you picked.

From the game itself

The map is rendered from the game's own files, and the movement comes from the game's own rules.

Checked against real drops

Routes are tested against recorded drops, including top players', not guessed.

Any roof, any floor

Land on a roof, a treetop, the ground or a window. You pick the exact surface.

How it works

Three moves before the doors open.

1

Click your spot

Click anywhere on the map. It reads the exact height under that point and asks what you are landing on: a roof and how many floors up, a treetop, a rock, the ground or the water. The opening ring is worked out for that spot, so any bus direction has an answer.

2

Set the bus

In the lobby the game draws this match's bus route. Click where it starts, then where it ends, or read it from a screenshot. Drag the line, or either end, to line it up. Next game, press Clear Bus and set the new one: your spot stays.

3

Press drop

Read the number, then jump when the bus clock in the game shows it. Point down, hold forward and follow the line down. Hover or tap any mark on the route and it says what to do there.

Bus path: two clicks to set, drag to line up
Dive: from the jump until the glider opens by itself
Glider: ride it until you can cut
Cut at the red mark: then fall the last stretch
Blue ring: press jump here to open the glider again
Your spot: where you land

Questions

FAQ

How accurate is the jump cue?
The movement model is built from the game's own files and checked against real recorded drops. The rest is flying: hold forward, cut at the red mark, and press jump at the blue ring.
What does the countdown number mean?
It's what the bus clock in the game should read at the moment you jump. Once the doors open, the game counts down to when the bus drops everyone. Every player on the bus can see it, and that is why the map speaks in it instead of metres.
Why does it want me on the bus longer than I'd guess?
Because riding is cheaper than flying. The bus covers ground several times faster than you can fly across, so the best jump sits close to level with the spot, later than instinct says.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes. Tap your spot, tap where the bus route starts and ends, and tap the marks for their tips. The full map is heavy on the first load and cached after.
Is this allowed?
It's a map and a route planner. It reads nothing from the game and changes nothing in it. It's fan content, not affiliated with Epic Games.
Is it free?
Yes, for now. Make a free account with your email or Discord and open the map. Pro is on the way, see Pricing.
